    Default Arms?

I tried to find some threads about this article, but I failed.

I am 21 years old, 145 lbs and 5' 8''. Started Starting Strength a month ago and gain about 8 lbs which I am satisfied with. But my biggest problem are my arms. First, they are weak (which leads to some problems with standard SS movements), second, they are small. Measure of my relaxed upper arm is only 10,5 inches. Everything is getting bigger, but arms not. Maybe I just have to wait until I gain enough weight.

Is there some good way to give extra attention to arms? Chin-up and dips maybe, beside standard SS program?

    Thank you in advance.

When you get to be 5'8" at 205, your arms will be bigger.

My guess is he didn't search enough to see this response, which I agree with, coming...

He didn't search at all. This is one I certainly should have deleted. I am weak.

Maybe you need more arm work.

Having gone from 5'11" 135lbs (twig arms) to 5'11" 200lbs (healthy arms), I can confirm:
    -your arms will get bigger.
-you will not notice the change, because the progress will be very slow.
    -everyone else will notice it.
-if your arms are lagging in strength, they will catch up.
    -stop fucking worrying about it.

I had reasonably good luck adding a few sets of 8-15 dips or pull ups on days when my bench press or shoulder press seemed really easy.

Why does everyone think they need permission just to do a few curls?
