    I've said it once, and I'll say it again. It's nice to see serious scholarly work on the history of the sport, and it's convoluted development. Mr. Fair is a gem.

    I also have to say you've got to be pretty close to having enough articles for a pretty serious collection, either in print or as an e-book. I think with the occasional illustration (the Clarification article is just screaming for a few illuminating diagrams about who should drink their milk, and who shouldn't, don't you think?), a nice intro, and a bit of light editing here and there, you'd have a nice volume.

    A very interesting read. I have heard about George Jowett, yet I never knew who he was and what contribution he made to the iron sport in the US.
