This unit is available from my equipment fabricator, Johnny Brown at Brown Bros. Welding. I've been on Johnny's ass about producing a bolt-together version of my welded rack for a long time, and things have finally settled down at the shop long enough for him to get it done. The unit assembles in about 15 minutes off the pallet, and is as sturdy as a welded rack. It is built from 4" x 1.5" channel, 1.25" cold-rolled bar stock, and 1/4" flat-bar, to the same basic specs in the book, pages 313-315. The color is natural steel with a hard clear-coat finish. This is the best power rack you will ever use, as the many people who have trained in my gym will attest. Contact Johnny Brown for the total cost plus shipping. The fact that it can be shipped on a pallet by common carrier means that you save a bunch of money on the freight. Call him at 940 855 1911.

What is it exactly that makes this rack superior to any other similarly shaped rack with wide hooks?(Not trying to be a smart ass I'm legitimately curious.)
Nice, if I didn't already spend an arm and a leg on an R-3 I'd get one.
It's solid and heavy, like geology. It is made of C-Channel instead of tubing, and the pins can be placed at various angles in various positions. See the pictures here: http://startingstrength.com/index.php/site/equipment
Remember: we do not sell equipment, and I don't make a single penny from the sale of these racks.
Do you think they'd ship to the UK?
Do you think it'd cost more than the rack to do so?
Things like this. Use your imagination.
