    Default Anatomy

    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    • starting strength seminar february 2025
    • starting strength seminar april 2025
    Does one of the squat, deadlift or power clean work the gluteus medius/minimus more than the other lifts? I'm working around a not-too-recent injury in that area and its acting up a little, so I'm wondering if there's one lift I should maybe avoid/back off.

    They are all hip extensors/external rotators. Point your toes forward to stay out of them.

    Thanks, Coach. I'll try adjusting feet a little and stick with all the lifts.
