It's a hidden gem that many people are not aware of.
That was a good fuckin' movie. I got in a Karl Urban rut after The Boys came out on Amazon and watched that and Chronicles of Riddick. Hidden gem, indeed.

Dredd was really entertaining. Didn't know what to expect, but knew it was good.

And the LOTR trilogy = very good, extended edition, if you can stand it.

I searched and found no mention of Moneyball with Brad Pitt. Outstanding movie, even if you're not a baseball fan.

Army of the Dead is a horrible movie. Of all the things wrong with this incredible waste of time and money is the deliberate decision to shoot it with a very shallow depth of field. What that means to the viewer is the movie is a blurry mess. Most of the screen will be out of focus and it robs any viewing pleasure from what must have been some exceptional stunts. It makes me feel sorry for the actors and stuntmen who had to watch their hard work be wasted by an indulgent artistic and cost saving choice. It is so bad you may think there is something wrong with your TV.

I actually thought some of it was good. Those title sequences were awesome. But the depth of field on that camera was fucking horrendous and there was a bunch of dead pixels somehow.

I've been watching movies on the Internet Archive. Lots of old films that you might not be able to find anywhere else.

I watched the HULU movie "Boss Level" today. I found it to be very entertaining.

Today's selection was Hitman Agent 47 - I liked it quite a bit.
