Bad Times at the El Royale
What did you think of it? Finally got around to watching it last night.

It's next in line. Watching Alpha now. Disappointing for people who actually live outside and have dogs.

I saw Alpha in the theater with the wife. I didn't mind it too much, but kind of went in knowing it was going to be that type of film.

If you like shitty movies the new Predator is great.

I stayed away from the new Predator. Will wait until it is free on Netflix or Hulu. I am not too happy with the Hollywood trend of just redoing older films. The New Magnificent Seven was a big disappointment to me and I don't see a need to reboot Child's Play either.

Bad Times at the El Royale is a helluva good movie. I like the editing, that makes use of out-of-sequence flow in an interesting way. Bridges did a great job, as usual. And the gal that looks like Suzi Quatro is hot.

It was stated earlier, but The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is an excellent Coen Brother's movie (It's listed as movie, but it's only available on Netflix). It's like Oh, Brother, *Hail Caesar, Lewbowski, and True Grit had a baby.

YES such an under-rated and overlooked low-key movie of 2018.

Yes, it was pretty bad. Although the chick was super hot. She was the only watchable thing about it.

I agree, although the new Halloween reboot wasn't bad. I'm not saying it was as good as the original, but as far as reboots go, it was OK.
