    That has to be the most uncomfortable and potentially dangerous thing to do though. After a maximal clean, you're already fatigued and you're going to try to set that maximal weight down slow when it was so heavy you had to lift it fast?

    My bitterness comes from 2 weeks without cleans, deads, squats, etc, after tweaking my back trying to bring a heavy clean back down. I can't wait to get my back 100% and when I do, I'm damn sure dumping the weights next time.

    At high enough weights I do find it a bit hazardous. I've accidentally dropped a few from the waist and busted my shins.

    I just corrected that one mistake and it made doing the power clean that much easier!!!!

    The cleans look very good. But the front squats don't look like you're handling PR weight. You could stand a little more vertical back angle, and if you'll think about leaning back on the way down and driving your chest up out of the bottom, you'll like it better.

    But on the whole, you're a damned impressive specimen of manhood.
