How do you expect to get results if you don't even have the right technique. You just 'proved' that a 500 pound squat does not help you with real life attributes like flexibility that get from Yoga. Just goes to show that Yoga is more 'functional'.
On a more serious note, there are plenty of studies that conclude that stretching/flexibility does not prevent injury, counter to public belief. Unfortunately, many people also think that yoga develops strength (which it might do for completely unconditioned people for a short time).
But still, that really was a shitty warrior 2 pose.
