Blowback: How Israel Went From Helping Create Hamas to Bombing It

“Hamas, to my great regret, is Israel’s creation,” Avner Cohen, a former Israeli religious affairs official who worked in Gaza for more than two decades, told the Wall Street Journal in 2009. Back in the mid-1980s, Cohen even wrote an official report to his superiors warning them not to play divide-and-rule in the Occupied Territories, by backing Palestinian Islamists against Palestinian secularists."

"First, the Israelis helped build up a militant strain of Palestinian political Islam, in the form of Hamas and its Muslim Brotherhood precursors; then, the Israelis switched tack and tried to bomb, besiege, and blockade it out of existence."

Perhaps they undertook this risk because they knew the dual-citizens in congress would bail them out with financial and military aid (and American military lives, if needed) if things got out of control.

Arab countries don't want Palestinians for 2 main reasons. 1) It allows there to be a "struggle against Israel" that's ongoing and distracts their own populace. It also allows them to grandstand about hating Israel without having to actually do anything or put themselves in the firing line. If Israel exists then the power being unreliable can be blamed on "The Jews" rather than your own lack of competence or corruption. 2) They don't want Palestinians in their country as they're radicalised and will cause issues in their own countries for their own security services. I know the US likes to act like 9/11 was a singularly unique historical event, but the countries that spawn terrorists are also the primary targets. If for no other reason then it's easier to attack them.

Palestine is a great idea for a lot of people. And like a lot of governments and charities, keeping the problem going is more profitable then solving it.

Serbia had a death toll of about 100k.

They don't want them back.

I also can't help but wonder if there isn't a bit of staging being done here by the arab community behind the scenes. If they don't take them they realize that thanks to the corrupt and incompetent global news media and the UN, they can turn it around on Israel and make them look like the guilty party because of all the "suffering inflicted" upon those "poor" people, regardless of the fact that the fakestinians deserve EVERYTHING they get.
    This is a bit extreme.

This is just... so perfect. Howard Blum convincing you to hate Iranians because they identify as white people. Just, sublime.

Your original, incorrect claim was that the ancient word “Iranian” inherently denotes fanatical “racial superiority”. It is not supported by your frantic googling about political alliances in the 20th century.

Just wait until you find all the swastiks throughout Asia. Casus belli against Bhutan, no doubt.

How do you stand on Iran getting nuclear weapons? Why? I’m 100% against it because I believe they will use them offensively.

It took under 30 seconds to find a rebuttal to your comment. You can take what I said any way you want, but my last post proves my point.

You are like Donny with I am the Walrus now. Very much out of your element. It would behoove you not to continue this conversation. We can all pretend it never happened.
