Good news! Covid-19 case counts in South Dakota have completely collapsed. Recall that South Dakota never instituted any lockdown.

We don't know why case counts have collapsed; I would not rule out herd immunity.

    They don't mention:
    1. Is the # of tests the same?
    2. Scientists estimate 1/3 (100m) have had Covid-19 & are immune for some period. This is natural disease course.
    3. They also seemed to have excluded the petition currently running against Newsom which is miraculously having a real "scientific" effect in bringing down the cases.
Carl DeMaio on why the recall of Gavin Newsom is forcing changes -
You mean this is the result of lowering the cycle threshold on PCR, as many states have already started doing.

I hope so. The utter fucking audacity. Can you imagine, if all this was at a casino and everyone at the table placed their bets and then the dealer said, "ok, but if that rich guy over there starts losing we're gonna take all the bets off the table and give him his money before he loses too much to your bet." "Oh and by the way, that rich dude is part owner in the casino."

If everyone at the table was cheating in collaboration, with the sole and stated intention of bankrupting the casino, your analogy would be more relevant.

Heard immunity is a pretty good bet right now. Recall that the scientific community was roughly divided 50/50 between heard immunity (using fundamental biological principles) and the forecast model (quarantine for all).

The model is flawed, not because of mathematics or computational advancements, but because they have no ability to predict human behavior. Ironically, heard immunity assumes it.

Robinhood and TD Ameritrade limiting trades of Gamestop this week is some pretty scary shit. Hypocritical to the Nth degree.
It’s been stated, for whatever that’s worth, these institutions needed to secure additional funding to cover the influx of call options, which is why they temporarily suspended purchasing, not selling, of certain securities.

Though I get it, conspiracy theories are always more sexy, and not necessarily untrue.

That’s exactly what’s happening. I’d like to pump more money into it to help the cause, to be honest.

Sadly, our legislators will find a way to support them in the name of “helping retail investors.” Some law, regulation or rule will change and they’ll sell it to the public as a protective measure for us, when in reality, it allows our “casino owners” to continue making money.

We all know how this game ends. I’m just enjoying it and I hope I get the satisfaction of one of them jumping off a tall building on Wall St.

By the way, Jenni. We went down to a great Mississippi steakhouse about halfway between Memphis and Jackson tonight. I’m afraid to say their name and get them in trouble, but it was a packed house. Best steak around! No 25% revenue there!!! I was so proud of them!

Texas! Look it is a interesting place to visit and they do have some wonderful food and have a terrific history, but they have rabid armadillos and skunks running around the place. No you should think about Australia, it is like Texas, but bigger and we can cook fajitas, chili, gumbo Texan style, Mark's cooking show has given us the recipes.

Very slick, very effective. Much more effective than these pieces of shit: Anti-Trump PAC Compares Entire GOP to ISIS Terrorists

“It is not a conservative decision to support QAnon, which this Republican Party does but its members are basically drawn from QAnon. It is not conservative to support insurrection and terrorist attacks against the United States of America,” Meiselas continues. “It is not a conservative decision when you claim to support life but allow more than 400,000 Americans to needlessly die from COVID-19.”

“No, the Democrat Party is the party of people who are careful, considerate, who love this country and who are truly patriotic,” Meiselas declares. Then he brands the Republican Party as a group of terrorists.

“I don’t want to call this current GOP conservative anymore. They’re no different, in my mind, than ISIS, and we call ISIS Islamic terrorists. As Joe Scarborough said, we either call them the Trump Terrorists, the GOP Terrorists, the GOP Insurrectionists, but they don’t earn the title conservative anymore.”
