Racial Equity, in part, means you CAN NOT hire or promote based on the criteria “Most Qualified”. This has been in the Federal Gov for many years. It is on the official list of micro aggressions as an actionable discrimination. I guess Biden felt we needed something more dysfunctional.

    What could possibly go wrong?

I'm still waiting for the news of a "mysterious free-flying alien creature" being spotted and engaged by F-22s. God, what a nightmare we are living in. And it's made worse by how much everyone else seems fine with it. There's just no fixing this shit. You can't force a change in culture.

I appreciate the alternative viewpoint, haven't read the second one, but if that's the best counter explanation than it pretty much confirms Seymours reports.

But they do have a popular symbol for vodka, like a secret handshake - a flick of the throat with a finger. Learned that from a Russian Jew I worked with (Jews again!). Peaceful guy named…Sergei. I don’t know if he was into vodka, but he wasn’t into war. He pissed off his superiors when he repatriated to Israel. They gave him a rifle, but he said he was incapable of shooting another human being. So they made him a guard around some low-value fenced area.

Here in the US, he was very a competent programmer in telecom, and did not smoke, I think.

That aside, the bros probably relish the possibility of correcting Seymour.

In the absence of honest reporting, this happens: There Is Fire In Our Crowded Theater - by Adam Gaertner

And it might be true. But whatever the media says is a bald-face lie. For example: Biden declares '''Kyiv stands''' in surprise visit to Ukraine | AP News

You don't know with absolute certainty that Joe is actually in Kiev. But if he is, you know that Obama and the rest of the committee is trying to get him killed, because that would solve a lot of problems.

California report: Another California district axes honors classes in the name of equity - The Lion

Culver City’s cuts were precipitated when a group of English teachers at the school presented data to the school board that showed black and Hispanic students were underrepresented in honors classes.

The teachers also presented anonymous quotes by non-honors students who said they “felt less motivated or successful” because they weren’t included in the classes that emphasized motivation and success.

Consequently, the school cut freshman and sophomore honors classes in English to ensure students are taught with what the Journal calls “an equal level of rigor,” even if an equal level now means a lesser level.
How does one become "included" in classes that emphasize motivation and success? Is one "selected" in California, or does one sign themselves up like they do everywhere else? And if they don't sign themselves up, why must the students who signed themselves up be penalized for their motivation to do so?

    12ft |

Before dropping honors classes from the school district, the Culver City School Board said students who were not in the honors classes felt less successful, motivated and “unable to break out of the molds that they established when they were 11,” the WSJ reported.

At Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, honors English classes were eliminated because teachers felt they had “a moral imperative” to do so to ensure equity for minority students, the WSJ reported. Eliminating the classes “has increased access and provided excellent educational experiences for all of our students,” the school district told the WSJ.
The lazy bitches didn't want to do the work of teaching the higher-level material.

A better question: Why are you still in California?
