The models that generated this political bullshit have predicted nothing correctly -- not sea level change, polar ice cover, or weather.

And everybody believes it anyway, to the extent that they are handing the management of the world's economy to elderly megalomaniacs with an agenda based on their own personal power. You're not even allowed to question it -- otherwise sensible people have agreed with the ridiculous premise that CO2 is a deadly poison that must be eliminated from the surface of the earth. Every August, everybody runs around like it's not supposed to be hot. Every time there's a drought, everybody acts like it's the very first time it's been dry too long. "Hurricane season" started in June, and how many hurricanes have devastated the coastlines already inundated by the molten ice caps? How many times over the past 20 years of this shit have the hurricane predictions been correct? This is a classic example of a pseudoscience, exactly like astrology. It's not falsifiable, and it has predicted nothing correctly. And in classic leftist fashion, anyone who disagrees is guilty of "The Pseudoscience of Climate Denialism."

Really, the children are in charge now, seeking validation for "caring about the planet," running around yelling about "carbon" -- the 4th most abundant element in the physical universe --being a deadly poison. Their managers are common criminals whose entire agenda is money and control, and we are letting it happen. It is the result of the shitty science education we received in the government schools, and it probably cannot be stopped.

And in addition, the Government that brought you the flu from China, lockdowns, and vaccines that killed far more people than the flu, the Government in charge of "public education", the war(s) in Asia, the economy, and pronouns wants to also be in charge of the weather.
Rip, Dr. Patrick Moore -- Ph.D. in ecology, Co-Founder and former President of Greenpeace, and author of "Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom" -- whole-heartedly agrees with you.

Everyone with an IQ above average global temperature -- all seven of you -- would profit from watching Moore's lecture Climate and Carbon Catastrophe.

Learn how almost* all life on Earth owes evil man and "Big Oil" a debt of gratitude for adding back a thimbleful of atmospheric CO2 right before calciferous life form was about to sequester the last little bit of CO2 down to the famine level, below which plants can no longer survive.

    Sapere aude.

Default Are you calling me stupid?

Btw, lest anyone finds my earlier IQ comment insulting, note that the current average global temperature - whatever the hell that means - is 288K.

(Real men use the Kelvin scale when discussing thermodynamics.)

The terminal effects of Pseudoscience: State introduces milestone law requiring utility companies to provide clean energy: ‘A 100% clean energy future is in sight’

Michigan has upped its commitment to sustainable power by introducing a new state law that demands utility companies provide 100% renewable energy by 2040.

The milestone is accompanied by incremental targets in the preceding years, according to the website of State Senator Sam Singh. Under the Clean Energy Future plan, an 80% clean energy standard must be achieved by 2035, while renewable standards of 50% and 60% should be reached by 2030 and 2035, respectively.
Note the absence of the word "nuclear" in the text.

I wrote a paper on global warming in the 90s, in geography class in the sixth grade of elementary school or so. This was before widely available internet, so I used materials from the library. By the time I finished writing about how my home town would be under water by 2002, I chanced upon this description of weather being a nonlinear dynamic ("chaotic") system. I had no idea what it meant, so I looked it up. Back then, there was still decent popular science material to be found on this stuff. The explanations had to do with the inability to forecast weather for a period longer than several days, due to a lack of computing power to do so. Mind you, this is one of the few things I have something of a grasp on in physics, yet I am to this day able to "win" climate change arguments against doomer PhD people. This goes to show you how much basic education has deteriorated since then.

That's a great clip I have not seen before, thanks for sharing.

IPCC’s New “Hockey Stick” Temperature Graph – Watts Up With That?

using an algorithm that draws hockey sticks, that no one knows who wrote it, with data that's not peer reviewed. That's the IPCC for ya.

Default That asteroid can't arrive soon enough.

For several decades I've been warning every young person I encounter that if they don't learn - at a minimum - basic logic, statistics, and double-entry accounting, they are doomed to be blithering idiots for the rest of their lives.

I would say that it is almost a daily occurrence for me to interact with fully grown adults and to be BLOWN AWAY by their abject stupidity about whatever the hell we were talking about, and invariably it is because of a mind-numbing lack of one or more of the above.

Most people's mental output is nothing more than an endless pearl necklace of logical fallacies, embedded in a slurry of cliches.

And nowhere is this more plainly evident - like geological structures in a desert - than in the "climate change" babblings of the average TEDx-watching, NPR-listening midwit.

I've noticed in the past year the weather stations are reporting several degrees higher than my outdoor temp gauge and my Jeep's ambient temperature gauge. I recall both of my gauges being spot on with local weather reporting previously.

Coincidence? Probably not. Maybe "they" are fudging the numbers in favor of climate alarmism?

Also, when was there ever a guarantee what the weather would be in any particular location?

Is it better or worse for average temperatures to go up a couple of degrees or down? "If" average temperatures are going up slightly, wouldn't that save a lot of "fossil fuel" usage in colder climates?

I've also noticed the state media reporting natural gas as "dirty" fuel. Didn't it used to be referred to as clean energy??

It's getting difficult to separate the lies and gaslighting from the truth; probably all is going according to "the plan."

And finally, last I understood is trees and plants and people like CO2; when and why did that change?

NPR has been off the rails for a long time as far as I'm concerned. These people are the "useful idiots" that are complicit (and traitorous) for spewing the lies and fear porn on the citizens it's supposed to represent; and "We the People" pay for their shameful existence.

Apparently, the useful idiots don't seem to consider the ramifications of their lies on future generations, including their own. I just don't get it.
