I like a thin futon mattress on the floor or on a tatami mat on a bed. If you like a hard mattress and/or have back pain it's pretty good! Pillow either none or something thin.

    Sleeping on your back?
I stack a bunch of old burlap sacks for the pillow.

This past November I bought a King Sized Nectar Hybrid Mattress from their website.

I slept on one when I visited my son. He had one in his spare bedroom.

No complaints so far, I would buy again.

I appreciate all the input. I originally went with a Stearns and Foster hybrid mattress and really didn’t like it once I slept in it for a while.

Exchanged it for a Purple so we’ll see how it goes. Both me and my wife kept going back to the Purple in the store. Something about it just feels right.

Rustic, Rip. It sounds more charming that way.

Stomach -- so a soft bed means back pain.
