Listening to this podcast reminded me of CS Lewis’s the Abolition of Man. If you haven’t read it, you should check it out. He’s a Christian apologist typically but this work is not Christian in nature. It’s more about how language was being changed and changed in such a way that we become less than human.

More BS words/phrases to add to the list which have been common lately in the news. A sure sign of an unoriginal BS artists:
- "it is with heavy heart". Translation: Having no choice due to coercion . . ."
- "out of an abundance of caution" Translation: "To cover my ass . . . "
As much as Sen. Fetterman is an idiot, to his credit, he is at least reasonably authentic. Fetterman: "Spare me the soaring accolades from people with their fingerprints on the blades in our President's back."
