McBee, what do your lifts look like and how do you train the leg press?
That rarely gets explored so may be difficult to find.

Typically leg press/chest press/pulldown or row.

    Once to twice a week.

    And what is your squat/bench/deadlift?

No idea as I am strictly a machine lifter.

Maybe not too difficult to find a relevant anecdote... I had an injury to my hand that led to an infection requiring surgery last year. This had me unable to squat or deadlift for over six weeks. During this time I steadily progressed my leg press into previously uncharted numbers.

After which, my squat was noticeably DOWN.

It's okay now, though. After I could squat again, I eventually started setting PRs once more.

What's your max in those lifts then? Plus height, weight, age, pronouns.

Anyway, I think machines are kind of not great because they are kind of like off the rack clothes. They don't fit everyone.

Also, consider that while barbell lifts include skill/stabilisers etc etc, so does real life.

Finally, does AI roam around and take over inactive accounts or something? It seems like McBee only said a couple of things in the movie thread and a recipe for protein balls back in 2023.

There is no such thing as a strong guy with a weak squat (provided he has, you know, LEGS).

Well yes your squat was down, because you had not done squats in 6 weeks.
