Do not train your wife.
Running my wife through the NLP. Aside from a few spirited marital disputes about squat depth in the first few workouts, all is going well.
My question: When progress starts to slow on the squat, which one of the following changes should I make first? Should I incorporate a light squat day on the second workout of the week or switch to triples?
Do not train your wife.
With women, switch to triples early and aggressively. The light day is a fatigue remediating factor, which will not set in for some time. The triples are an adjustment to accommodate women's musculoskeletal systems.
But really, don't train your wife.
Experience has shown that it is not productive.
