Look man, you can object to the philosophy behind it. But have you SEEN the kind of shit that gets on fitness YouTube?

Preventing the kids from seeing fitness YouTube increases the likelihood they buy a book.

The YouTube content is tame to what is getting shared and "influenced" on Instagram and TikTok.

Then again, when I was doing some Power Snatches after Krav Maga training this Tuesday, when a group of three came to the "functional training area" (the place with the racks and barbells) pulled out a few benches and did triceps kickbacks with tiny dumbbells, and strangely enough, no smartphones were apparent during this "training".

All you can offer people is the information and the reasoning behind. The ones that can think for themselves, will choose wisely. The others will follow the herd.
