Hi Rip. Wondered if you saw this article and what your thoughts are?

YouTube will begin limiting access to fitness videos for European teens. Here's why | Euronews.

The new rule is an effort to prevent teens from forming "negative beliefs about themselves," Dr Garth Graham, who heads YouTube Health, and James Beser, YouTube Youth’s director of product management, said in a statement.
Aren't negative views about oneself a motivation to change for the better?

No. The only possible outcome from negative views about oneself is suicide. Haven't you been paying attention these past few years? Science (insert little TM here) has proven beyond a doubt this is the case. They spoke to a DOCTOR for pete's sake! How can you question that?

Look man, you can object to the philosophy behind it. But have you SEEN the kind of shit that gets on fitness YouTube?

Preventing the kids from seeing fitness YouTube increases the likelihood they buy a book.

Indeed. And, sadly, a growing number of Americans.

I would say that the impact of these videos would differ between adolescent boys and girls with the assumption they would be more potentially harmful girls.

This isn’t about body image or it would go further than fitness content

They’re just scared of youngsters discovering self reliance and taking responsibility for their health because that’s right wing

Those teenagers might one day commit wrong-think, get thrown in prison and use Starting Strength to "overpower the guards".
Youtube is run by the same people who run the US government... and the private prisons.
