Australia. Where all the snakes are poisonous and all the politicians are evil pussies.

We may not be able to use ratshot, but in either of those situations the sharp end of a shovel will suffice as long as we avoid getting bitten by the politicians.

Take this with a heavy grain of salt / potentially it's horrible advice for actually getting where you want to be. But, in terms of paying the bills / making it work. The % of the market that can afford $100+ a week for a personal trainer might not be massive.

Diversifying at the start might not be a horrible idea. Not talking a 20+ person boot camp where you're at the front of the room screaming through a mic. But if you did go your own way and had a couple of racks in your establishment. Running 4-6 people for less cost each might be a good way to keep the lights on. Go the local high school and offer 2-3 sessions a week for $40 a person. Find the 6 most suitable & boom. Half your rent is sorted & you've still got plenty of free slots for 1 on 1 clients. (Again, not talking from experience, grain of salt, yada yada..)
