    Hey Rip
Just curious what a proper kg jump would be for the lifts. 2kg would be 4.4 lbs is that good enough? Or should I go 2.5/5.5 respectively? And bench maybe 1-1.5, press 0.5-1? My gym has some eleiko plates that are very accurate so I want to switch to those instead of the steel ones that vary.

It doesn't really matter that much. Just be consistent.

There is nothing magical about the number five

5Kg for the initial jumps on SQ and DL, DL a bit longer, then 2.5Kg for as long as it goes, when you need to adjust PR or BP or both, 1.5-1KG. Stay with 2.5Kg for SQ and DL.

I have used: 1,2,4,8. It is close enough to 2.5,5,10,20 lbs. I find it easier to adjust since I have plates that allow for 1kg increments at least.

I'm currently using 2kg jumps for the squat, deadlift and power clean; and 1kg jumps for the bench press and the press.
