I would prefer you get more movement throughout the day versus doing cardio with weights (i.e. the sled). I think it's useful but I think spreading out is better because it keeps the joints moving over a longer time course vs sitting in a stationary position all day allowing the connective tissues to get stiff. I too hate doing a "conditioning workout" but I do walk my dog and hike and when I started doing that my knee tendonitis went away within a week and I don't have to force myself to do it. Find activities you both know you should do but also that you like to do. An high activity dog breed will force you into that if you care about the dog.

I guess it's time to go ride my bike out on the trail. Thanks Robert for your reply.

How about an episode on getting proper nutrition to train while on a tight budget? I think this is going to become more and more important for more and more people in the days ahead.

Well less shitty is the better word. If the government would stop subsidizing agriculture, that would certainly help matters but after 90 years I'm not holding my breath.

I'm not even talking about avoiding processed foods and such, I'm talking about keeping a caloric surplus going when a gallon of milk costs more than a gallon of gas.

When everything is expensive at the same time, you pick the best of the worst I suppose.
