    Hi Robert,

I have searched the forums and didn't see a post on this. I got some 'clear whey' from Myprotein.com which is apparently just a super-refined whey isolate.

It's much easier to drink than the normal whey shake as it has an almost juice-like consistency and seems to be an easy way to increase protein intake.

Have you seen this and if so is it effective?

Haven't tried it but its peaked my curiosity. In general, palatability is almost always effective at increasing compliance.

It taste like a still lemonade. Much easier to stomach in this hot weather we have in the uk these past couple of weeks.

Well it is certainly a bit hot in Arizona this time of year so I may have to try it

Does whey need to be more palatable? I think modern whey powders are delicious. Now the stuff I tried when I was in high school 20 years ago, good god...

It still surprises me that people complain about the taste. The shit we stomached 20 years ago was rough.

Yep it’s fine. The difference with the clear stuff is not so much taste but texture. It’s much easier to drink a juice like drink when it’s hot and you feel full.

To clarify, I was referring to their RTD juice flavored protein. It is decent for what it is and not thick
