Sounds like a test for fasting and postprandial glucose. What is your question exactly?
Hey Santana,
My family talks alot about blood sugar spiking. Two of them went to a doctor and he had them testing their diets to see what spikes their levels. They would test when they woke up and then eat and test again. Being skeptical and having never cared about it, I was wanting to read some information about it. Any suggestions of good information?
Appriciate the reply.

I guess my question is how much truth is there to worrying about your blood sugars spiking while eating and is it different for people who train with heavy weight vs the general public?
People who are active, especially those who train intensely, are more insulin sensitive than people who are sedentary. Eating always raises blood sugar. Eating some foods does it more than others. Should you worry about it? Depends on your situation.
