Draining ground beef
I have searched high and low all over the internet but I can not find an answer. I know that draining ground beef has an effect on its nutritional value, but not sure how much. Is there a formula that I can use to better calculate my macros after draining the meat. I am using 93/7 ground beef now but am thinking of switching to 90/10 as it will yield an annual savings of around $500. Thanks in advance.

It will drain an unknown amount yes. Unless you save it and send it out for lab analyses there is no telling how much though. The intramuscular fat, however, will remain.
