    Default DHEA, Pregnenolone

    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    • starting strength seminar february 2025
    What do we know about the usefulness, or lack of, of these supplements? Much like the gentleman who asked about creatine and BP, there doesn't seem to be a consistent opinion other than pregnenolone may be a bad idea if you have prostate issues.

    You are talking about drugs now. I'd probably keep an eye on your prostate if you are taking any type of growth factor. That being said, your predisposition to BPH is the best indicator if you are going to have that type of response.

    Wow this is really helpful for me. I’ve been taking pregnenolone via doctors recommendation for the last year and recently upped my dosage quite a bit. I thought I had a uti for the last month but keep testing negative, now I realize I have the symptoms of bph. I’m only 32 so that’s weird, gonna try to cut out the pregnenolone and see what happens. Apologies for hijacking your thread dalan, I was just really surprised to see Robert mention that.

    It's not something that affects everyone but something to keep an eye on if you think that you are susceptible.
