I see no problem with this.
Here in Germany supermarkets carry 500g cups of low fat quark, which I believe is somewhat comparable to cottage cheese.

Nutritional values per 100g are:
70 kcal
0.3g fat
4.2g carbs
12.1g protein
The stuff is easy to eat and dirt cheap, just over a dollar per 500g cup if you shop smart.
Any reason to not go KOQAD for a super convenient 120g of protein every day?

"Easy to eat", haha, good one! The stuff is dry and not tasty unless you add liquid/fat/flavour/sweetener - which alters the nutritional values and/or adds more volume to eat.
You can eat it sometimes easily, of course, but 1kg a day will get old really fast. I'd recommend starting with one package (500g) per day, that's far more doable for longer than a couple of weeks.

I've been eating a cup between breakfast and lunch and another one after dinner for two weeks now. You can add some milk to improve the texture and berries for flavor. It's not exactly tasty but I cannot think an easier 60g protein snack that doesn't cost five times as much.
my lidl price is 1.45€ which is 1.60 in $ or something like this. where do you get it 'just over a dollar'? am i being ripped here (no pun intended)
on topic: i 'slurp' it every night with 500ml milk, banana, sometimes added peanutbutter+cocoa. its yum, its fun, its getting girth onto your gun.
My nearest Kaufland uses to have it on sale for 0.95€.
Looks similar to Russian tvorog which is translated as farmer's cheese/cottage cheese / cream cheese.
If so, sour cream is the go-to additive to make it all more palatable, texture & taste-wise. It's what every babushka mixes tvorog with, then adds copious amounts of sugar or jam, before dishing it out to her grandkids. If you're trying to go no sugar / no white flour with your diet but you've got a sweet tooth then adding peanut butter to this stuff will trick you into imagining it's a delicious dessert.
