Default Upcoming seminar and SS 3rd edition

    Hi Mark -

I'm attending your Redmond SS seminar; I've been working out of the 2nd edition of SS, but I'd like to get a copy of the 3rd in time for the seminar.

Do you and your entourage bring any extra copies for impromptu purchase? As you might have deduced, I'm trying to save myself the rush shipping costs.

Lack of prudence, yeah, I know.

We do not carry extra copies of the books on the airplane for people who forget to order the textbook to the course in time to read it before the seminar. They are too heavy, and the airplane people want to get paid. If you order it today it will be there before Friday without rush shipping costs, in time for you to do more than look at the pictures for a few minutes before the lecture starts.

    Catatonic,

Would the Kindle edition work for you ? If so, you can get it now have and a few days to read it before your seminar. And it costs less than the paperback edition.
I have it and it works well enough on my iPad. You can download a Kindle reader for your laptop (PC or Mac) for free if you rather not use an iPad.

A nice thought, Belly, but I already decided I'd like to have a physical copy.

Rush shipping, then. So I'll have more time to look at the nice pictures.

I have both, Kindle offers "In the Gym" that is not available in the hardback, easier to travel with (for reasons Rip stated above), and works pretty darn well on the iPad.

SS3rd looks GREAT on my HP TouchPad using the Kindle software. Including the pictures.

I too prefer it over the hard copy when at work and anything else away from the house.
