Any of the trainers here have any "programs" for somebody that say does a legit linear progression but is more or less happy with their body comp and strength levels? More or less how would you program for somebody that just wants to maintain and go to the gym and exercise for fun and health? I know the general recommendation is just do crossfit but im just looking for some simple things to do at a regular gym to keep interest up. thanks

This is like asking what kind of math text you would buy for someone who doesn't actually want to gain a better understanding of math.

Basically, why program it at all? If they want to go play around and do whatever's fun in the gym, I'd just tell them to go play around and do whatever's fun in the gym.

If I were to charge people money for this advice, I'd be a fraud and a charlatan. Since I'm not a fraud and a charlatan, I wouldn't charge people money for this. Let the kid who works at the globo gym do it. You know, the guy with the frosted tips with the Exercise Science degree.

Nonsense, this is easy, whether they want to understand math or not the answer is simple. Rudin, Spivak, Apostal, Kiselev, Gelfand, Needham, Courant, Strang...I could go on.

o im not asking for myself as im going to continue training until i break something but thats me...basically i have two people that dont really have any goals other than just to stay active in the gym(maintain health.bodycomp)...im sure there are some conditioning challenges they could do but i think the idea of just lifting the same weight and doing some sprints/hiit is monotonous at least according to them.....the simple solution would be just tell them to do the crossfit wods but im just fishing for ideas really

Would a recreational sport fit the bill? Perhaps bowling or chess?

But seriously, depending on their location, etc maybe an adult rec league of some sort of their choosing. I played baseball this summer and it was a lot of fun, with not much commitment required.

Humans don't work that way. You are either developing or stagnating - choose one.
