Bumper plate durability
Hi all,
So my girlfriend and I bought some weights to use during the lockdown but it transpires that the 20kg plates are not tall enough (when upright) for deadlifts or power cleans.
If we bought some 5kg bumper plates just to get the right height would this work or would they warp due to strain from the other weights on the bar?

Do not use technique plates to hold weight.
Shim to the right height with plywood or rubber.
