OHP with Cerebral Palsy
I'm having trouble balancing during presses. I'm tempted to just do seated OHP, but I'd really like to improve my balance, and I think this is a good way to do it.

Tighten your wrists so that they are as straight as you can make them. The wrists are bent 90 degrees by the top of these presses. They need to stay much straighter, with the barbell deep in the palmar crease. Focus on your lockout at the top. Get your torso forward under the barbell on all the reps and shrug up hard. Keeping the elbows in front will help you not to drop it at the bottom. The bump on the end of your elbow has to stay in front of the barbell. Your knees are also a little bent. Keep them tight and just push your hips forward until you can press past your face. I wouldn't do the dynamic hip at this point.
You may have to do some creative things to do this safely, but I think you can manage it. Putting the safeties where you have them is a good move.
