Every forum I visit, when you look around for lifting shoes for wide feet, everyone answers "Do-Win". In absence of all other answers, (I had a post banished to the Repetitive Inquiries forum) I bought some. They seem like great lifting shoes. Just NOT WIDE.

I wear a 9EEEE. It's hard for me to find shoes for specialty things. Running, I can find 9EEEE. Wrestling, I can only find 9EE. etc.

I'll just have to stretch these out as much as I can. But for everyone else googling "wide lifting shoes", be warned, these seem like well made lifting shoes, just not wide.

My feet are EEE width and the Do-Wins are the only weightlifting shoe I've found comfortable. I notice that there are a lot of different version. Which one did you buy? I own the white/silver Pendlays.

"noted for their wide profile—giving athletes with wider feet greater comfort and stability than possible with some other weightlifting shoes on the market."

Again, not bashing the shoes themselves. This is just my woes in having duck feet. I'm sharing just to let other Googlers know.

I'm hoping I can stretch them out. They're not too rigid on the sides.

The Do Wins are pretty wide - you just have exceedingly wide feet.

    I know.

Very few shoes come in my size. If you go to Zappos they have 19314 men's shoes. In 9EEEE they have 442.

But I should feel somewhat OK, because they have 5E, 6E, and 9E widths available in some shoes. 9EEEEEEEEE must be so wide, it's square!

My only gripe with my old Pendlay Do-Wins is that they are too wide. Normal width is D, and they are wider than that.

    Hey there my duck-footed brother.

Maybe we should go in together on a pair of shoes. I am an 8-1/2EEEE. Thank you very much for the warning. I have yet to start looking into lifting shoes. Are those leather or cloth sided? Would the old wear them in the shower trick work?

They're "leather" (can't tell if they're real leather or fake) but not cloth. Not very think though, which is why I'm hopeful I can stretch them out.

I've never tried wearing shoes in the shower. Usually I just keep wearing them and suffering through until the stretch out on the outsides.

With leather and canvas shoes, this usually works well enough. Winter boots? Not so much.

I got tricked by those people as well.

I recently bought the same pair of shoes, though size 12. They are not nearly as wide as have been described by many folk.

For reference, my shoe size is 12EEE, and the do-wins just aren't comfortable. Wide shoes are hard to come by, and a blessing when they do.
