    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    • starting strength seminar february 2025
    • starting strength seminar april 2025
    I now have proper lifting shoes, decreased the weight and am slowly building back up. Please comment on how to improve my form.
    This is my squat at 180#.

    Not the best filming angle, but from what I gather, these are light for you. Maybe shove your butt back more to straighten the bar path? I'm probably just being picky though. No glaring issues (I don't think). Onwards and upwards!

    Thanks. I lightened up the weight to fix my form, and I also got proper lifting shoes which really helped out. I also reread the book. I will post a better angle on my next form check video.

    Nitpicking, but your elbows may be a bit high. Could lead to some elbow issues over the long term as the weights get heavier. Read Jordan's recent Elbow Issue article for a good discussion. Other than that, looking good (and super light).
