My workout regimen looks like this. Sometimes i miss my 3rd workout of the week however i workout at least twice a week.
Monday:-
Squats 3x5 (3 sets 5 reps), increment 5lb / workout
Press 3x5 (3 sets 5 reps), increment 2.5lb / workout
Wed:-
Deadlift 1x5 (1 set 5 reps), increment 5lb / workout
Bench Press 3x5 (3 sets 5 reps), increment 5lb / workout
Friday:-
Squats 3x5 (3 sets 5 reps)
Press 3x5 (3 sets 5 reps)
Currently i am stuck on a 210lb squat and 117.5 lb shoulder press. I have reset twice already but get stuck on the exact same weights. For deadlifts and bench resets seem to work much better. I was looking for some suggestions to break these plateau's. Here are some things that i thought of.
1. For shoulder press reset again to 105lb and increment using just 1 lbs per workout. (Currently i am incrementing 2.5 lbs per workout).
2. For squats, go back to around 170 lb and do 5x5s. Increment using 5lb per squat workout.
Any feedback/plans would be greatly appreciated.
No, no, no, no. More weight on the bar. Switch to 5 singles across on the press and squat on Friday.
