The difference is in the bicep involvement with the supination.
This may be a small detail that doesn't matter but I was wondering if there are any significant differences between the standard chin-up and using a neutral grip when performing a chin-up/pull-up? The neutral grip at my gym is about shoulder width and for some reason just feels a bit better than when I perform a chin-up with a straight bar.
