Stumbled across this 61 year old "powerlifter" who puts his training videos on youtube.

I noticed that ALL his squats are partials, be them heavy or rep maxes.
It makes me cringe watching it.
Would it be wrong to leave loads of comments of criticism?
Or should I respect that he may know what he is doing especially as he is older than most of us?
I know this is just some videos on youtube, but I often run into similar situations in real life. So it would be interesting to draw parallels with how to approach these things.
I fear the deadlift doesn't make it any better:

If you look at the comments under the video (there are only 3 as of this posting), someone tried to point that out. They commented:
"You are an older more experienced lifter and I dont want to patronise you.
But are you sure you should be quarter squatting with such maximal weights? Thats a hell of a lot of strain for the knees that would be the undoing of many a young man let alone a senior."
This was a very mature, delicate way to ask. The OP replied:
"The most recent studies have shown Squats to be beneficial to maintaining knee health (tendon strength, elasticity, etc.). As to age and load, since I've been Squatting under heavy loads since about 1970 I'm used to it and I'd also encourage all trainees to go heavy at least occasionally. As to the depth (quarter squat), I've modified my technique (old dogs can change), see my 61st birthday Squat video to see better depth."
So he thinks it's okay. You can try to PM him, but I doubt you're going to change his mind. His "better depth" video from his 61st birthday has him performing half squats.
I actually wrote that comment to the guy, I didnt notice he had replied.
it's pointless proaching technique to other people, I see horror at the gym regularly, i never try to correct people, unless they're obvious very green and don't know what they're doing and dont have an ego around it.
I wouldn't bother. The old guy's doing just fine with his quarter squats.
Commenting on things online can only ever lead to laffs.
If you're doing it to champion some righteous cause, don't bother. Trolling is the Zen of the Internets.
