pain around greater trochantor
m, 28 yo, 6' 225 lbs, SS LP
After squatting yesterday, I noticed pain around what I believe is the greater trochantor on my right hip. It hurts if I apply pressure to it and the immediate area surrounding it. It also hurts if I get up from sitting, or climbing stairs. I would describe the pain as just a bit of inflammation. However, I've never had any issues with my hips, so I can't tell if it's going to turn into something bad and something I should be concerned with, or if it's just a fleeting thing. Of course, I researched it and am entirely convinced I now have GTSP (greater trochantor pain syndrome) and am basically screwed for ever and ever (joking... sort of).
I was squatting 300 3x5 before I noticed it, and am certain I will fail the squat sometime between 305 and 315 based on the difficulty of recent sessions. I have yet to fail and take a reduction/light day. I of course don't have a video of me squatting to put in this post, but I thought maybe if I get some dialog started it wouldn't be a bad thing in the mean time.
Any ideas? Should I be concerned?
Thanks so much for your time

Let's see what happens over the next few weeks. Sometimes things will hurt and then they will stop. All without good explanation.
