Shoulder pain
The entire last year or so my shoulder has been popping when I moved my arms in certain angles. Multiple "pops" cause a slight burn. The same slight burn appears after a set of benching or pressing. Also after facepulls, when doing a set that is at least somewhat challenging. However that burn got worse over time. My doctor told me to stop doing pressing movements. So I stopped benching 5 weeks ago, but kept ohp and chins. After seeing no improvements I dropped my entire upper body training 2 weeks ago. Still no improvement. Next time I see the doc is in 2 weeks from now. What do I do?

Mine pops too, no real pain tho (for now).
So, where and when do you feel this burn? When and how did it first appear?

Was there a moment when you felt the popping and burning happen for the first time?
I had something similar a few years back, ended up being a labrum tear which required surgery. I'm not saying this is what you've got but my doctor said there was nothing wrong, I persuaded him to send me to a specialist who diagnosed me within seconds after listening to what situation I was in when I first felt the pain.
So all I would say it when you go to the doctors try and tell him as much as you can about the pain and injury, and you know you're own body better than he knows your body, if you know something isn't right then explain that to him.
Hope things with your shoulder start getting better soon, I know how frustrating it can be!

I seem to remember my shoulder doing that ~24 years ago after throwing a ball and "pulling something." DR said it was a tear (can't remember where), after x-rays. I could either have surgery (shitty insurance, so I couldn't afford it) or just let it be. I opted for the latter.
24 years later I'm still dealing with shoulder pain. The popping stopped years ago, but the burning is often, and pain is constant. I can bench/OHP ok, but can't even look at an incline bench without cringing, and can't lift my arm laterally without a significant amount of pain. MRI is happening soon...
Hope it gets better for you!
