deadlift form check
I know the back looks scary right up until I pull, but I think all that flexion is in the thoracic spine (I do lots of t-spine mobility stuff before lifting). The bar path does not look vertical to me.
First time pulling in my adiStars.

You are correct that the bar path is not vertical. Watch how you push the bar forward with your shins immediately before the pull. You also do not keep the bar in contact with your legs on the way up. Ceasing to move the bar on the ground and dragging the bar up your legs will help your lift a good deal. Spend less time with your back in full flexion at the bottom and more time squeezing your chest up to take the slack out of the system. To review:
Don't move the bar once it is over the midfoot.
Squeeze your chest up and get tight while your shins are in contact with the bar.
Drag the bar up your legs.
