Default TM squats - volume deloads

    Hi Andy,

I'm running TM and have allowed my volume squats to increase to about 93% of my intensity weight.
This is pushing me into over reaching/training and my intention was to deload back to about 90%.

I wondered what your thoughts were, based on all of your practical experience, of the effect of a volume squat deload on intensity performance.
If volume drives intensity, wouldn't a deload in volume weight adversely impact intensity performance, or have you witnessed the opposite with
    your trainees ?

    Thanks for your input.

If you are overtrained/overreached then a reduction in volume is necessary. You should have a performance increase if this was truly the case.
