Just saw this at Instapundit. Sorry I missed it when it went up.

That was great. I read that and laughed and got all pumped up...and erect.
Then I decided to follow his advice and immerse myself in 80's music and movies. I started out with the very best of Hall and Oats, then I watched Beaches. I cried a lot and my chest hair started to fall out in clumps. I think maybe I missed something? Am I not doing the program? I'm not really feeling like a Viking, more like a vegetarian.

You have made inaccurate interpretations before. It has apparently happened again.

Actually this is just the excuse I've needed to finally get a sword.

I have had the "sword" conversation several times, usually at work or a bar. Usually the topic of discussion has lead to a point where weaponry is involved. Maybe it's a conversation about Lord of the Rings, or something similar. At this point in the conversation, I will typically say, "I want a sword." Without fail, the nearest female (no offense ladies, but this is all true) says, "why would you want a sword?" The answer of course is why wouldn't you want a sword??? Then I explain that I believe that every man wants a sword, and if you should happen to meet a man that does not want a sword, there is probably something severely defective about him. Then she will shake her head and roll her eyes and call me a weirdo, but I stand by the "every man wand a sword" belief.

I know I've had this conversation with my wife at least 4-5 times.

    Lets see,
Train with heavy ass weights 2 to 3 times a week get plenty to eat get plenty of rest and oh yeah get up and go to work make sure the yard work gets done get out of the house to raise some hell make sure the wife is reasonably content etc etc. Now I have to listen to 80s music and make new friends....... And enemies? Can this be modified?
