Default seeking guidance for post LP run

I was previously an intermediate, have made deep runs in TM and have competed in powerlifting. That said, I have had a very rough inconsistent previous 6 months of training and now consider myself a novice again as I am able to make improvements every 48 hours. So, my question is since I have that previous baseline strength and nueromuscular efficiency, would it be wise to STOP my LP before I start to fail or before it gets grindy? Assuming I actually know how to bone on bone grind unlike when I was a true novice. If so, how do I know when the cutoff is and when I should pre emptively move to HLM ? Or should I milk the shit out of it same as when I first started?

Thank you coaches for all your knowledgable advice.

I think you should just re run the program until it stops working. If you made deep runs into TM you should have a decent feel for how much stress you've accumulated vs how much stress you've been able to recover from. I don't think it's ever really suggested (here anyway) to fail a set because of the amount of stress that can cause, especially as the weight on the bar gets heavier.

I would think you would end your NLP at a heavier weight than you did thr first time. You should be able to make bigger jumps than normal at first but then they will start to taper. Throw in your light squat day when squatting heavy 3 days a week is too much then run that until you have to add your backoff sets on Friday. The end of the NLP seems like it's pretty damn close to HLM so if you just run the program again it should be a pretty smooth transition into HLM. I'm just some guy though so caveat emptor.
