quick question
Hi Coaches,
M, 27yo, 6', 230, doing Starting Strength LP.
Deadlifted x5 today, but packed the chalk on my hands differently than I normally do and bar felt a bit slippery. Locked out first three reps, maybe got 95-98% through reps 4 and 5 before grip slips (Not quite full, solid lockout, but very close). Was able to lower the bar with control as it hung in the fingers on the way down.
My question: I know 99.99% I would have completely locked out if it wasn't for my poor chalk choice. Can I still go up 5 lbs next time, or should I redo the weight?

Go up. If you miss that one, too, stay at that weight and get it the next time.
