Injury
yoyo, went to the gym the other day, squatted relatively heavy for my standards ^^ and fucked up my lower back. I swear to god i never felt that much pain in my life. Almost went unconscious and couldn't move without agony. Anyways, I somehow got home and couldn't sleep - went to the doc the next day and he told me that if the pain does not go away the next 5 days, he suspects it is a herniated disc. 2 days after the incident, I feel decent, no pain when im walking ect., but the squat motion (without weight) feels extremely uncomfortable and I think that I can't load the bar with more than a plate.
Do you guys have any advice for me? I know you guys advise to keep on lifting, but I am not sure how I should keep going. My lower body is actually the weak part of my body genetically and i really do not want to lose too much strength and muscle size there .
