I was a wimp with a gut, now I'm much stronger with a gut.
Hi Coach,
Thanks for the all the books, and *real, actual* progress.
I am 29 year old male who did some "lifting" in University, and then did basically nothing after graduation and added at least 10 inches to my waist. In the past 6 months or so I have successfully have made myself into an intermediate through hard lifting and GOMAD and lots of food.
Now that the strength gains have slowed down my goal is to get rid of my belly while keeping my new found muscles and strength. I will reduce calories just enough to make incremental fat loss on a weekly basis.
My question is in regards to training:
a) Should I continue with Texas Method styled training?
b) Are 5s most productive for my goals, or would some other rep range be better?
I am planning on doing intervals or metcon type workouts on my off days.

a.) If it is still working, keep doing it. There is no need to change a program that is producing results. When it stops working, change it.
b.) The reps are dependent on the type of adaptation you are trying to produce. This is dealt with in PPST.
