What happens if a trainee who just wants general strength chooses to only focus on benching and deadlifting , with a few assistance stuff.
What is he exactly missing out once he is pulling 600 and benching 350 without giving a shit about squatting , pressing , cleaning ... ?

He's missing the benefits of the squat, obviously, and a heavier deadlift and bench. Some guys are pussies about getting under a heavy bar.

You're not gonna be able to pull 600lbs without a strong squat.

    Thanks for your answer.
I don't understand why devoting your time for other lifts helps drive up the deadlift and bench faster than just specializing on these two lifts and doing some assistance just to avoid imbalances (external rotator work...)

And what makes a 500lbs deadlifter and 600 lbs squatter more awesome than a 700lbs deadlifter and 400lbs squatter?

And I do squat btw I am not seeking an excuse not to.
It's just that a big deadlift and bench is always equal to an awesome , fckin strong dude , so why bother with smth else ?

I had 300 pounds on my back for the first time in my life yesterday and almost missed the 5th rep because my dick was so hard.

    Wow! Not sure what I would do if my wife weighed 300lbs . . . .definitely suggest that I take the top though . . . .oh . . .we're still talking about squatting . . my bad . . .

Squatting is great, deadlifting is merely good. Benching can be an amusing diversion. This is true whether we want it to be or not.

Any response I could type would be a subjective assessment of your balls, so I'll refrain.
