Hey everyone, I was wondering if the way Ed Coan does SLDLs in this video has any benefits compared to normal SLDLs. He starts from the top down rather than bottom-up I think and the bar moves quite forward towards his toes.

Ah, I see. Do you think the bar can go significantly forward of the mid-foot when it's heavy? I don't know what a heavy RDL would be for Ed Coan these days, but I guarantee it's a heck of a lot more than 225, and I'm willing to bet the bar stays approximately in line with his mid-foot when there are eleventy-two more pairs of plates on the bar.

I guess light weights can only go so far haha. Thanks for the clarification.
