    here are some urethane bumpers:

    http://www.americanbarbell.com/produ...aining-kg.html

they are said to withstand 8,000 drops. i believe Eleiko claims 5,000 drops for rubber ones. it seems to be a re-branded GP Industries disc.

and here are some urethane fractional plates:

    http://www.americanbarbell.com/produ...al-plates.html

aside from urethane being unique for fractional plates, these are also unique in correct color coding for fractional ( 0.25 kg ) plate. unfortunately there is no 0.75 or 1.25 kg plate, but still ...

it is somewhat discouraging that prices aren't listed, however they do have some sort of order codes so at least they seem to be for sale ?

anybody know anything about this ? order from them ?

Never bought from them but I can say that BlueCoat is classifying that entire site as "Suspicious". Generally not a great indicator.

It looks like a manufacturers site. So you would have to contact a retailer who stocks them or ask AB where to buy.

I've asked GPI about the plates and received a quote from an American Barbell email on GPI letterhead. There some posts on the Pendlay forums from AB as well. I asked GPI what their relationship was with AB, if any, but didn't get an answer. There is definitely some relationship, but I'm not sure what it is. I'm not particularly interested though because:

As for the plates, I'm not willing to pay near-Eleiko prices for something with a 3 year warranty. Maybe the 10# or 5 kg plates if someone wanted to learn how to snatch, or the 0.25kg plates for microloading the press, but that's about it for me.
