training with injured finger
So i have been doing SS for around 2 1/2 months now (i think). I didnt write down the day i began, though i wish i had. I have had amazing progress so far with it. I have gained 30lbs, and all my lifts have gone up tremendously. I am also seriously enjoying the whole process and seeing and feeling the results. Anyways, i am putting my jeans on this morning (which fit much tighter than they used to) and im tucking my boxers and i feel my finger snap. What i have now is called mallet finger. basically i tore a tendon in my finger on my right hand. What are the best ways to continue lifting? Im not going to let something so stupid get in the way of the progress im making. The problem however, is that the end of my finger has to stay in a splint for atleast 6 weeks and not bend at all. If i bend it, any healing that has occured will break and have to start from the beginning. Any advice is appreciated.
