Hi, am i allowed to add any exercises apart from chin-ups and pull-ups... i work out at home so i can't do those... also do you recommend doing power cleans or rows. i know power cleans are very good but it doesn't seem like the program without rows will have any lat work. Thankyou.

This the program i am following:

    Day A:
Back Squat: 3 sets of 5 reps
Bench Press: 3 set of 5 reps
Deadlift: 1 set of 5 reps

    Day B:
Back Squat: 3 sets of 5 reps
Military press: 3 sets of 5 reps
Power Cleans: 5 sets of 3 reps

Swap bench and press days and you will be following the novice programme pretty much as written. Do that for 3 months, adding weight to the bar each time (you will need microplates) and then decide if you need to add anything else.

    Buy and read the book.

There are tons of solutions to not having a pull-up bar at home. Most of which involve spending $18.99 on a pull-up bar. Correct this situation.

    Deadlifts work the lats.

    It's in the book.

Get that before the pullup bar.
