    Coach,

I'm not sure if this is better directed toward you or Justin, but I was wondering what either of you would suggest as a good substite for plyo box work during WODs? I just started following the CFWF routine (I wanted to keep increasing strength but was in desparate need to increase my conditioning), and currently do not have any plyo boxes, or kettlebells for that matter, but I am guessing I can substitute kettlebell swings with dumbell swings?

    thanks,

    Dennis

Can you not just stack some shit up to jump on? Or build a box? Or use a flat bench? Or the side of a hill? Or something?

Do you have any stairs handy? They work in a pinch.

    Default Bumper plates

I've seen people use bumper plates. I used a few flagstone squares on a big wooden stump - worked great!

Or just build a box - lots of plans on the Crossfit forum in Equipment. Many people have made very cool stuff and are happy to share their plans. I especially like the directions to make PVC-pipe elbows into rings.
